When five musicians spanning in age from their 30’s to the 60’s, all having placed the practice of jazz as an important priority in life, play together for over a decade . . . something wonderful starts to happen. They find the pocket. . . they swing, they flow.
Jazz Impact is Michael Gold on Bass, Nathan Norman Drums, Mike Cramer on Guitar, Brad Holden on Alto Sax, and Joe Mayo on Tenor sax. That’s close to 200 years of cumulative individual musical explorations of the music of: Fats Waller, Duke Ellington, Thelonious Monk, Horace Silver, Bennie Golson, Sam Rivers, Lennie Tristano, and Wayne Shorter to get us started . . . so much history . . . so little time.
Join us for a couple of flowing sets that we think you’ll enjoy as much as we will.
